Deep, bold, and unmistakably Indonesian. This coffee comes out of the highlands of Takengon, Aceh, where cool mountain air and rich volcanic soils create a cup with serious character. Produced by Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan (KBQB), this lot is wet-hulled in the traditional Giling Basha style, giving it the earthy depth and heavy, syrupy body that Indonesian coffees are known for.
In the cup, expect dark chocolate and dried fruit layered over a pleasantly earthy foundation. Medium acidity keeps things balanced, while the syrupy body carries through to a long, lingering finish that sticks around like the last song at the end of a road trip.
Bold, rustic, and built for slow mornings, campfires, and wide-open roads.
